What Is A La carte Learning?

IA la carte learning is a must for managers, employees and entrepreneurs to survive and thrive in the online platform economy. What A la carte learning is and how you can learn ‘A la carte’ is what tis blog is about.

What is A la carte learning:

A La Carte learning is a learning approach which lets individual learners choose different online and offline instructional methods and tools including video tutorials, games, online courses and instructor-led group-based instruction. Providing them with more flexibility in line with their personal learning styles and schedules.

Some history since the last century.

Since the Eighties of the last century, I have been using the ‘a la carte learning model’ in the global banking sector as program manager eLearning and Computer Based Training (CBT) in the ICT-division of the Amro Bank and as Head of Educational Techology until 1993 (see here).

Since 2011, I have been using the ‘a la carte model’ again to design and redesign ‘a la carte blended learning programs’ for different niches of customers including executives, startups, scaleups, instructors and teachers:

  • Blended learning design
  • Online course design.
  • From instructor-led to multi-media

And for ‘a la carte outplacement 2.0 programs on demand’ for senior managers and executives.

And I have stopped following expensive and long traditional programs since I became a solopreneur and especially since the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic. I help my customers on-demand and A la carte to survive and thrive in the online platform economy.

And to stay relevant for them and to secure the future of my own income, I make and execute short personal fast learning plans, personal development plans, continously. A la carte and on-demand.

Make an appointment today.

If you want to make and execute your own fast learning program, make an appointment using this form or by sending me a message on my LinkedIn-profile. To plan a call immediately.

Kind regards,
Tony de Bree
